Tipping Point Global Executive Search specializes in providing executive search solutions to high-growth private equity firms and mid-market, owner-led, private companies, across every industry, discipline, and function.

Founded in 2008, and with a reputation for reliability and excellence, they source exceptional C‑Suite and Senior level leaders for PE clients looking to accelerate growth, revenue & market share of their portfolios, across N.A. & the UK. Tipping Point’s Mid-Market and Private Equity executive search clients are typically from $20 million in revenue to Fortune 1000’s. Their client base extends across Canada, the USA, and the UK; they source candidates globally.

Tipping Point has offices in the GTA, Canada, and Yorkshire, UK. The Canadian operations are led by Founder and President, Sheldon Cutler.

We caught up with Sheldon to find out more about the organization.

Tell us about Tipping Point Global Executive Search, its role and vision.

I wanted to build a business that mirrored a workplace in which I would thrive, and one which I would buy services from. I think that we’ve achieved this. I have always tried to build this business on certain values and beliefs that have guided my focus and the way we do things.

Tell us a bit more about your team.

Sheldon Cutler is Founder and President of Tipping Point Global Executive Search. As an executive leader for over 30 years, with over 20 years of executive search expertise, Sheldon is one of the most experienced, highly respected, and well-networked executive search leaders in the industry.

As an entrepreneur and investor, having started, scaled, and sold a successful company of his own, he understands the challenges businesses go through in finding top-level talent.

Over the last ten years in particular Sheldon’s focus has been on filling President/​CEO/​CFO/​COO and other C‑Suite roles, across all industries and sectors, with particular emphasis on Mid-Market and Private Equity businesses. With a keen eye for talent, and as an engaging connector of people, his long-standing, loyal clients choose him to professionally represent them in the market as they seek to find the next transformative leader for their organizations.

Kathryn Cubbin is Vice President and Co-Founder of the business. She brings her reputation and expertise as an international HR and Executive Search practitioner to her role. With over twenty years of progressive HR and Executive Search experience, she partners with our Private Equity and Mid-Market clients to deliver on C‑Suite, VP, and Director level search mandates, across all industries.

As a dual Citizen of both Canada and the UK, she has owned and operated independent HR and Executive Search consulting firms in both Canada and the UK, as well as holding senior-level corporate HR positions in private, high-growth businesses and public companies. Kathryn is highly successful in creating and implementing innovative executive search strategies and identifying and engaging transformational leaders with our clients’ exciting opportunities.

Approaching every client engagement in a bespoke fashion, the Tipping Point team has successfully delivered on more than 2000 mandates throughout the course of their careers, giving the same level of care and urgency to the process of securing talent that their partners expect of themselves
