Who are the key people at FTI Consulting?
Antoine Mavel is a Senior Managing Director based in Toronto, he leads the firm’s Canadian operational due diligence, merger integration and carve-out services and has been involved in more than 200 engagements for a variety of clients across the globe.
He advises private equity clients starting from the pre-deal phase with operational due diligence, carve-out assessment, and synergy analysis, before his role typically expands to cover post-deal integration and separation programs with a strong focus on accelerating value creation. Mr. Mavel has developed a particular expertise in the field of carve-out due diligence, from leading the disentanglement and separation analysis to supporting his clients with TSA negotiation and establishing future standalone costs. In addition to his experience in integrations and separations, Mr. Mavel has also led a range of performance enhancement and operational improvement engagements on behalf of private equity clients, board of directors or working alongside portfolio company management.
Kamran Hamidi is a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance and Transactions segment and leads the financial due diligence practice in Canada. He has 10+ years of experience in developing strategic business plans, financial models, undertaking business reviews, and performing financial due diligence.
Mr. Hamidi specializes in advising companies and private equity funds with respect to buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence of target companies. He has been involved in performing quality of earnings (QoE) analysis, net working capital assessments and evaluation of cash flow projections. Mr. Hamidi also has experience in assessing strategic business plans and financial models for various companies in his role as financial advisor, including the development of Latam Airline’s 5‑year business plan to raise $2.5 billion of DIP financing during the Chapter 11 proceedings.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Hamidi was a Manager at Deloitte in the Audit segment specializing in their Financial Institutions group. Mr. Hamidi led client engagements of large banks and investment funds.
