CVCA Announces Toronto As Host City For Invest Canada ‘20

#IC20 to take place June 15 – 16, 2020 in Toronto

The Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA) is excited to announce that Invest Canada ’20, CVCA’s annual conference is returning to Toronto next year.

Invest Canada is Canada’s must-attend event for professionals in private capital. The conference provides an exclusive opportunity to connect and collaborate with industry leaders in private equity and venture capital.

“We’re extremely excited to be hosting our annual conference in Toronto again,” said Kim Furlong, CVCA’s CEO. “While Canada has been positioning itself as growing market for private capital, Toronto has taken the lead in tech start-ups and attracting global attention for investment opportunities. There is an amazing vibe right now in Toronto and it will be fantastic to host members from coast to coast there next year.”

The CVCA is also very excited to announce our 2020 conference co-chairs. Representing venture capital, Steve Leightell, Partner, Georgian Partners will lead on the VC stream and representing private equity Steve Faraone, Managing Partner, Peloton Capital Management will be charged with deliver a compelling offering to PE members. Together they will be showcasing the growth of our industry and tackling the issues that are top of mind for private capital.
