INTRODUCTION
Thank you for registering for Invest Canada '23, hosted by CVCA. Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy, the following Conferences Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you and your participation in any CVCA event, both in-person and virtual. “Attendee” for purposes of these Terms will include all participants at the Conference, including Sponsors, Partners, and Attendees. By participating in this Conference, you agree to these Terms so please read them carefully. These Terms include and incorporate CVCA's privacy policy.This Conference is organized by the CVCA, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Cancellation/Refunds:
There is no refund for canceling your Invest Canada registration. Substitutions are permitted.
For Substitutions: If you’re unable to attend Invest Canada, you may send someone in your place. Substitutions may be made on or before Thursday, May 25, 2023, with written confirmation from the person registered. Note: If you are a CVCA member and your replacement is a non-member, that person must pay any outstanding balance because of the difference in fees.
INFORMATION PUBLICATION
By completing an Invest Canada ‘23 registration, you consent to receive communications from the CVCA.
As an attendee, you consent to be able to receive and send personal messages, and/or video call invitations.
You also grant the CVCA, its representatives, and employees the right to take photographs, videos, and any relevant screenshots, which may or may not include your name, in reference to Invest Canada ‘23. You agree that CVCA may use such photos, videos, or screenshots with or without your name and for any lawful purpose including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, and web content.
Any secondary individual recordings from IC23 attendees are not permitted.
We understand that there are for-profit event organizers in the industry who have flexible ticket terms and conditions. As a not-for-profit trade association, please know that CVCA does do not fall into that category. We take the privacy of our members and event attendee information seriously. Invest Canada ’23 will keep your personal information strictly confidential and will not sell to or share your info with event affiliates unless otherwise disclosed.

At CVCA, we believe in equality for all. As such, we are committed to creating event environments that are diverse, inclusive, safe and free from discrimination, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, gender expression or identity, transgender status, age, disability, marital status or any other classification protected by law.
We ask that all attendees, speakers, sponsors and other guests of Invest Canada ’23 behave respectfully, harassment, discrimination, bullying and other unacceptable behaviour will not be tolerated. If you’re asked – whether by an Invest Canada ’23 organizer or another attendee – to stop your behaviour, you’re expected to do so immediately and respectfully.
If you have a complaint or concern about harassment, discrimination, bullying or any other conduct, we encourage you to tell event staff or security personnel immediately. If you witness this happening to someone else, please report that, too. You may request that your report remain completely confidential.
