Invest Canada ‘19 to take place June 4-6 in Vancouver in 2019

The CVCA is excited to announce that Vancouver, British Columbia, has been selected to serve as host city for the 2019 annual CVCA conference, Invest Canada ’19.

CVCA’s annual conference, Invest Canada, is Canada’s must-attend event for professionals in private capital. The conference provides an exclusive opportunity to connect and collaborate with industry leaders in private equity and venture capital.

The private capital ecosystem in Canada has matured greatly since the last time the conference was held in Vancouver in 2015. The 2019 conference will reflect the exciting evolution of Canadian private capital.

“We’re excited to be back in Vancouver in 2019,” said Mike Woollatt, CEO, CVCA. “All of Canada’s private equity and venture capital investors gather at this annual event. There is no better place than Vancouver to serve as the backdrop for Canada’s premier private capital event.”

The CVCA is also very excited to announce our 2019 conference co-chairs. Representing venture capital is Richard Osborn, Managing Partner, TELUS Ventures.

“I’m delighted to be co-chairing Invest Canada ‘19,” said Richard Osborn. “The 2019 edition of CVCA’s annual conference will bring together high-quality networking, up-to-the-minute insights and compelling speakers.”

On behalf of private equity Tracey McVicar, Managing Partner, CAI Capital Partners, will be serving as co-chair alongside Rich Osborn.

“We’re thrilled to have CVCA’s conference back in Vancouver for 2019,” said Tracey McVicar. “It’s an opportunity to showcase our beautiful city and our thriving business and technology community to private capital visitors from Canada and around the world. We’re planning an exceptional conference agenda that will excite and inspire our attendees.”
